Tower Mounted Amplifiers are used to enhance the RF performance of the uplink in cellular systems. They consist of a low noise amplifier and high performance filter combined in a compact outdoor unit, and as the name suggests are mounted at the top of the tower, next to the antenna. The benefits of enhancing the uplink vary with the nature and configuration of the system, but include:

Filter are commonly used to reduce or avoid any interference from one system with other system due to its ability to provide rejection/isolation 60-80dB, This Filter can be Full Duplex/Simplex, IP-54 for Outdoor Environment, wall mounted or 19" Rack Mounted depends on customer requirement.
